Would that make it cost less in the long run compared to a regular lcd tv?
I am planning in buying a used TV VIZIO, it hast been used approximately 9000 hours, would like to know the life expectancy of this TV.
it use to be 66 and now i don’t have it and when i get HDtv (feb17th?) will i get more channels? or what? what does HDtv do? can i fast forward a show or something?
Im looking into getting a kitten. Im against declawing cats, but Im concerned that it might scratch my roommates tv in the living room. Is this a problem for anyone?
I have an hp dv9005us laptop and i want to connect it to my LCD 52″ sharp aquos, which only has composite, component, s-video, and HDMI inputs. My laptop only has VGA and s-video outputs. Would a simple VGA-component adapter cable work? I read that VGA-HDMI cables don’t really work because they dont convert the signal.
I have a Toshiba laptop that has an SVGA output (no DVI unfortunately), and a new HDTV that has both HDMI and RGB inputs.
I plan on using a converter cable to hook up my laptop to the TV.
Any idea on which will give me better quality?
Thanks in advance!

The signal from the HD cable box seems to be jammed/scrambled/distorted every once in a while when a certain type of commercial or a computer graphic is shown. I’ve checked the component cable and it’s not the problem. The TV is a Philips 4″ plasma and the tv receiver is a Philips FTR 9965.
I am thinking of upgrading to a high definition TV, but I am having a tough time picking one out. I would like a one between 30 and 40 inches and in 1080p resolution, but many I find in that size have the lower 720p resolution. I would also eventually like to buy a Blu-Ray player for it. Is there really a big difference between the two in picture quality?
I have an analog output for an external monitor and I would like to be able to get a cable that will go from this to either standard Vid/Audio RCA, HDMI or S-Video. I was going to order the catalog online, but don’t know what cable I need. Thank you.
We have four tvs working on a directv package, but i just got a hdtv and i want hd service. Will the other three tvs still work if i get the hd directv service?
