I am thinking of upgrading to a high definition TV, but I am having a tough time picking one out. I would like a one between 30 and 40 inches and in 1080p resolution, but many I find in that size have the lower 720p resolution. I would also eventually like to buy a Blu-Ray player for it. Is there really a big difference between the two in picture quality?
I just got a ps3 for christmas, and if I’m reading the manuel correctly, you have to have a 1080p hdtv in order to use the blu-ray player. Is that true, or will it work with a 720p hdtv?
I’m planning to buy a 32 inch 720p tv and use it as a tv and a computer moniter. If I use the tv as a moniter with regularly (sit at a desk with the tv in front of me) will it ruin my eyes any more then using a moniter?
That Corneilius dude was right!
I used that same chart to get my TV.
It’s 10ft away from a 50″ ‘720p’ TV; and 6-7ft away from a 50″ ‘1080p’ TV!
I am buying my first HDTV and am looking at around 32″. I am looking to use this TV for Gaming on my Xbox 360. I was just wondering if 1080p was worth spending the extra money for on smaller televisions?
